Strawberry in Balsamic Vinegar

Strawberries marinated in balsamic vinegar, sugar, and black pepper, served chilled.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the balsamic vinegar and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Add the halved strawberries to the bowl and gently toss to coat them evenly with the balsamic mixture.
  3. Sprinkle the freshly ground black pepper over the strawberries and mix gently.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves. Serve chilled.
