Poke bowls are prepared by marinating fresh fish and serving it over rice with vegetables and sauces.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce and sesame oil. Add the cubed tuna and mix well. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. While the tuna is marinating, season the cooked sushi rice with rice vinegar and mix gently.
  3. Divide the seasoned rice among five bowls.
  4. Top each bowl with marinated tuna, sliced avocado, cucumber, seaweed salad, and green onions.
  5. Garnish with pickled ginger and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
  6. Drizzle sriracha sauce over the top before serving.

Prep

  • Thaw sushi grade tuna if frozen.
  • Cook sushi rice and let it cool.
