Oyako Don is a Japanese rice bowl dish prepared by simmering chicken and eggs in a savory dashi broth, served over steamed rice.

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix dashi stock, soy sauce, mirin, and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
- In a large skillet, add the sliced onions and pour in the dashi mixture. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and simmer until the chicken is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
- Pour the beaten eggs evenly over the chicken and onion mixture. Cover the skillet and cook until the eggs are just set, about 2-3 minutes.
- Divide the steamed rice into bowls and spoon the chicken and egg mixture over the rice.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
