Baked pasta with ground beef, tomato sauce, and cheese, prepared by layering and baking in the oven.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Stir in the tomato sauce and chopped basil, and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked pasta, half of the meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.
  7. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
