Fatteh
Fatteh is a Middle Eastern dish made by layering toasted pita, chickpeas, and yogurt sauce, garnished with pine nuts and parsley.

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Spread the pita bread squares on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, mix the yogurt, tahini, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- In a serving dish, layer the toasted pita bread squares at the bottom.
- Spread the cooked chickpeas evenly over the pita bread layer.
- Pour the yogurt sauce over the chickpeas, ensuring it covers the entire surface.
- In a small pan, melt the butter and add the toasted pine nuts. Stir until the pine nuts are well coated with butter.
- Drizzle the butter and pine nuts mixture over the yogurt layer.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Prep
- Soak chickpeas overnight if using dried chickpeas.
