Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until onions are translucent.
- Add the minced turkey to the skillet, cook until browned.
- Stir in the lard, allowing it to melt and coat the turkey.
- Mix in the tomato paste, chicken broth, salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme, and bay leaf.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the bay leaf before serving.
Prep
- Thaw minced turkey in the refrigerator overnight if frozen.
