Beef Enchiladas

Prepare beef enchiladas by filling tortillas with seasoned beef, cheese, and sauce, then bake until heated through.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until onion is translucent.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Spread a thin layer of enchilada sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Fill each tortilla with a portion of the beef mixture and some shredded cheese. Roll up and place seam-side down in the baking dish.
  7. Pour the remaining enchilada sauce over the rolled tortillas and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with sour cream.

Prep

  • Thaw ground beef in the refrigerator overnight if frozen.
