Aloo Gobi

Aloo Gobi is a simple Indian dish made by sautéing potatoes and cauliflower with spices and tomatoes.

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  3. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and sliced green chili. Sauté for another minute.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  6. Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  7. Add diced potatoes and cauliflower florets. Mix to coat them with the spices.
  8. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes and cauliflower are tender.
  9. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
  10. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
