Arbi Masala Curry

Arbi Masala Curry is a spiced curry made with taro root, tomatoes, and spices, cooked to a flavorful consistency.

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
  4. Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
  5. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add the cubed taro root and mix to coat with the spices.
  7. Pour in water, cover the pan, and let it simmer until the taro root is cooked through.
  8. Add garam masala and stir well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
