Bajre ki Roti

Bajre ki Roti is a traditional Indian flatbread made from pearl millet flour, cooked on a griddle.

Ingredients

Ghee (for brushing)5Tbsp

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine pearl millet flour, whole wheat flour, and salt.
  2. Gradually add warm water to the flour mixture, kneading to form a soft dough.
  3. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  4. Flatten each ball slightly and roll it out into a circle about 6 inches in diameter.
  5. Heat a griddle over medium heat and place the rolled roti on it.
  6. Cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side, brushing with ghee, until golden brown spots appear.
  7. Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.
