Bhindi Do Pyaza

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  3. Add cumin seeds, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Sauté for another minute.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes and green chilies. Cook until the tomatoes become soft.
  5. Stir in turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add the okra pieces and mix them with the spices. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Sprinkle garam masala over the cooked okra and mix well.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving.
