Boondi Raita

Boondi Raita is a yogurt-based side dish made by mixing crispy boondi with spiced yogurt, garnished with herbs.

Coriander Leaves (fresh, chopped)2Tbsp
Mint Leaves (fresh, chopped)1Tbsp
Black Salt (optional, for flavor)0.5Tsp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, soak the boondi in 100 milliliters of water for 10 minutes to soften.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth.
  3. Add cumin powder, red chili powder, salt, sugar, and black salt to the yogurt. Mix well.
  4. Drain the soaked boondi and gently squeeze out excess water.
  5. Add the drained boondi to the spiced yogurt and mix gently.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander and mint leaves before serving.

Prep

  • Soak boondi in water for 10 minutes before preparation.
