Chicken Shami Kabab

Chicken Shami Kabab is a flavorful dish made by blending minced chicken with lentils and spices, then pan-frying the patties.

Oil (for frying)4Tbsp

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine minced chicken, soaked chana dal, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green chili, cumin powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt.
  2. Add enough water to cover the mixture and cook on medium heat until the dal is soft and the water is absorbed.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool, then grind it into a smooth paste using a food processor.
  4. Mix in the chopped coriander leaves and beaten egg into the paste.
  5. Shape the mixture into small patties.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Remove the kababs from the pan and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
