Chicken Tikki

Chicken Tikki is a spiced, marinated chicken dish grilled to perfection using yogurt, spices, and herbs.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, ginger, garlic, lemon juice, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, leaving a small gap between each piece.
  5. Grill the chicken skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
  6. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving.

  • Marinate chicken for at least 2 hours or overnight.
