Corn Saag is a vegetarian dish made by simmering corn and spinach with spices, creating a flavorful and nutritious meal.

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chilies. Sauté for another minute.
  4. Stir in the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
  5. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add the chopped spinach and corn kernels. Mix everything together.
  7. Cover and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Once the spinach is cooked, add garam masala and cream. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  9. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot with rice or bread.
