Curried Beef Keema is a spiced ground beef dish cooked with onions, tomatoes, and peas, served over rice or with bread.

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chilies. Sauté for another minute.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  5. Stir in chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
  6. Add thawed peas and yogurt. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle garam masala over the mixture and stir to combine.
  8. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with rice or bread.

Prep

  • Thaw frozen peas for at least 1 hour before cooking.
