Gobhi Paratha

Gobhi Paratha is an Indian flatbread stuffed with spiced grated cauliflower, prepared by kneading dough, stuffing, and cooking on a griddle.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix whole wheat flour and salt. Gradually add water and knead to form a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, combine grated cauliflower, green chili, ginger, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well to prepare the stuffing.
  3. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into a small circle, place a portion of the cauliflower stuffing in the center, and fold the edges to seal.
  4. Gently roll the stuffed dough ball into a flat circle, ensuring the stuffing does not spill out.
  5. Heat a griddle over medium heat. Place the rolled paratha on the griddle and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, applying ghee, until golden brown.
  6. Repeat the process for the remaining dough and stuffing. Serve hot with yogurt or pickle.
