Gobi Matar Sabzi

Gobi Matar Sabzi is a simple Indian dish made by sautéing cauliflower and peas with spices.

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chili. Sauté for another minute.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and oil starts to separate.
  5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add cauliflower florets and green peas. Stir to coat the vegetables with the spice mixture.
  7. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
  8. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
