Gobi Sabzi

Gobi Sabzi is a simple Indian stir-fried cauliflower dish with spices and herbs, prepared in a skillet.

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
  5. Stir in turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.
  6. Add cauliflower florets and diced potatoes. Mix to coat them with the spice mixture.
  7. Cover the skillet and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
  8. Add garam masala and salt. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
