Matar Paneer

Matar Paneer is a North Indian curry made with paneer and peas cooked in a spiced tomato-based sauce.

Cream (whole milk based)100Ml
Coriander Leaves (chopped for garnish)1Bunch

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
  4. Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add green peas and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Add paneer cubes and mix gently.
  8. Add garam masala and cream. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
