Matter Paneer
Matter Paneer is a North Indian curry made by simmering paneer and peas in a spiced tomato-based sauce.

| Cumin Seeds | 1 | Tsp |
| Coriander Powder | 2 | Tsp |
| Turmeric Powder | 0.5 | Tsp |
| Red Chili Powder | 1 | Tsp |
| Garam Masala | 1 | Tsp |
| Salt (or to taste) | 1 | Tsp |
| Oil | 3 | Tbsp |
| Cream (whole milk based) | 100 | Ml |
| Coriander Leaves (chopped) | 1 | Bunch |
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
- Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add green peas and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add paneer cubes and mix gently.
- Add cream and garam masala. Stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
Prep
- Thaw frozen peas if using.
