Mooli Paratha

Mooli Paratha is a stuffed Indian flatbread made with grated radish, spices, and whole wheat flour, cooked on a griddle.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix whole wheat flour with water and a pinch of salt to form a smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Squeeze excess water from the grated radish and mix it with green chili, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, carom seeds, red chili powder, and salt.
  3. Divide the dough into 10 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  4. Flatten each dough ball slightly, place a portion of the radish mixture in the center, and seal the edges to enclose the filling.
  5. Roll the stuffed dough balls gently into flat circles, about 6 inches in diameter.
  6. Heat a griddle over medium heat and cook each paratha, applying ghee on both sides, until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve hot with yogurt or pickle.
