Mushroom Do Pyaza

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter.
  2. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
  4. Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
  5. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add sliced mushrooms and large onion pieces. Stir well to coat with the spices.
  7. Cover and cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
  8. Add garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
