Mushroom Matar
Mushroom Matar is a simple Indian curry made by simmering mushrooms and peas in a spiced tomato-onion gravy.

| Coriander Leaves (chopped, for garnish) | 1 | Bunch |
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chili. Sauté for a minute.
- Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add sliced mushrooms and green peas. Stir to coat them with the spice mixture.
- Pour in water and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Add garam masala and stir well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
