Nutrela Aloo Curry

Nutrela Aloo Curry is a flavorful curry made with soy chunks and potatoes, simmered in a spiced tomato and onion gravy.

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  3. Add grated ginger, minced garlic, and slit green chilies. Sauté for another minute.
  4. Add pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
  5. Stir in turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Add cubed potatoes and soaked soy chunks. Mix well to coat with the spices.
  7. Pour in water, cover the pan, and let it simmer on low heat until the potatoes are tender.
  8. Once the potatoes are cooked, add garam masala and mix well.
  9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.

Prep

  • Soak soy chunks in warm water for 30 minutes before cooking.
