Paneer Butter Masala

Paneer Butter Masala is a creamy tomato-based curry with paneer cubes, prepared by simmering paneer in a spiced tomato and butter sauce.

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a pan and add cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add grated ginger and minced garlic, sauté for a minute.
  4. Pour in the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
  5. Add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add water and bring the mixture to a boil.
  7. Add paneer cubes and simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and sugar, cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle garam masala and kasuri methi, mix well.
  10. Serve hot with naan or rice.
