Paneer Tikka

Paneer Tikka is a marinated and grilled Indian dish made with paneer cubes, yogurt, and spices.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix yogurt, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt to make the marinade.
  2. Add paneer cubes, bell peppers, and onion pieces to the marinade. Mix gently to coat all pieces evenly.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to infuse.
  4. Preheat the grill or oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  5. Thread the marinated paneer, bell peppers, and onions onto skewers, alternating between them.
  6. Brush the skewers with oil to prevent sticking and enhance grilling.
  7. Grill the skewers for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.
  8. Serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.

Prep

  • Marinate paneer and vegetables for at least 2 hours in advance.
