Paneer Tikka Masala

Paneer Tikka Masala is a marinated paneer dish cooked in a spiced tomato-based sauce, served as a main course.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to create a marinade.
  2. Add paneer cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat a grill or oven to medium-high heat. Skewer the marinated paneer and grill for 10-15 minutes until slightly charred.
  4. In a pan, heat oil and butter. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  5. Add tomato puree to the pan and cook for 10 minutes until the oil separates from the sauce.
  6. Add grilled paneer to the sauce and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Stir in cream and cook for 2 more minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.

Prep

  • Marinate paneer cubes for at least 2 hours in advance.
