Patta Gobhi Sabzi

Patta Gobhi Sabzi is a simple Indian dish made by sautéing shredded cabbage with spices and herbs.

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  3. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chilies. Sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  6. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  7. Add diced potatoes and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Add shredded cabbage and mix well with the spices.
  9. Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage and potatoes are tender.
  10. Sprinkle garam masala and chopped cilantro. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  11. Serve hot with roti or rice.
