Pav Bhaji

Pav Bhaji is a spiced vegetable mash served with buttered bread rolls, prepared by simmering vegetables and spices together.

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes, cauliflower, green peas, and carrots until soft. Drain and mash them together.
  2. In a large pan, melt butter and sauté onions until translucent.
  3. Add ginger and garlic, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
  5. Stir in pav bhaji masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Add the mashed vegetables to the pan and mix well. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add chopped bell pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with buttered pav bread rolls and lemon wedges.
