Shrimp Fry

Shrimp fry prepared with marinated shrimp, spices, and herbs, cooked until golden brown.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix shrimp with lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced onion and green chili to the pan, cook until onions are translucent.
  4. Add marinated shrimp to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
  5. Stir in curry leaves, coriander powder, cumin powder, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot with rice or bread.

Prep

  • Thaw shrimp if frozen.
