Simple Triangle Paratha

Simple Triangle Paratha is an Indian flatbread made by rolling dough into triangles and cooking on a skillet.

Ingredients

Water (lukewarm)250Milliliters
Ghee (melted)5Tbsp
Salt (fine)1Tsp

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix whole wheat flour and salt.
  2. Gradually add lukewarm water to the flour mixture, kneading until a soft dough forms.
  3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 10 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  5. Flatten each ball slightly, brush with melted ghee, and fold into a triangle shape.
  6. Roll each triangle into a flat disc about 6 inches in diameter.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil.
  8. Cook each paratha on the skillet, flipping occasionally, until golden brown on both sides.
  9. Serve hot with your choice of curry or yogurt.
