Soy Chunks Aloo Curry
Soy chunks aloo curry is a flavorful dish prepared by simmering soy chunks and potatoes in a spiced tomato-based gravy.

Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Sauté for another minute.
- Stir in the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the cubed potatoes and mix to coat them with the spice mixture.
- Pour in water, cover, and let it simmer until the potatoes are half-cooked.
- Add the soaked soy chunks and continue to cook until the potatoes are fully cooked and the soy chunks are tender.
- Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
Prep
- Soak soy chunks in hot water for 30 minutes before cooking.
