Spicy fish fry

Spicy fish fry involves marinating fish in spices and frying until crispy using fresh herbs and whole milk yogurt.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander, cumin, salt, and black pepper to form a marinade.
  2. Coat the fish fillets with the marinade, ensuring they are well covered. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Add curry leaves to the hot oil and fry for a few seconds until aromatic.
  5. Place the marinated fish fillets in the pan and fry for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove the fish from the pan and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  7. Serve the spicy fish fry hot with lemon wedges and garnish with additional curry leaves if desired.
