Tomato Potato Curry

Tomato Potato Curry is a vegetarian dish made by simmering potatoes and tomatoes with spices and herbs.

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  3. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and green chilies. Sauté for another minute.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  6. Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Add diced potatoes and mix well with the spices.
  8. Pour in water, cover the pan, and let it simmer until potatoes are tender.
  9. Once potatoes are cooked, add garam masala and mix well.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving.
