Veg Pakora is a deep-fried snack made with mixed vegetables and chickpea flour batter, seasoned with spices.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine chickpea flour, cumin seeds, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
  2. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, mixing to form a smooth batter without lumps.
  3. Add sliced potatoes, onions, chopped spinach, cauliflower florets, green chilies, and grated ginger to the batter. Mix well to coat the vegetables.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Carefully drop spoonfuls of the vegetable batter into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  6. Fry the pakoras until they are golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
  7. Remove the pakoras with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  8. Serve the veg pakoras hot with chutney or sauce of choice.
