Akbar Joojeh
Akbar Joojeh is a Persian dish made by marinating and grilling chicken, served with saffron rice and a tangy pomegranate sauce.

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, saffron water, lemon juice, grated onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Add chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- Cook rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, stir in butter and a pinch of saffron.
- In a small saucepan, heat pomegranate molasses over low heat until slightly thickened.
- Serve grilled chicken with saffron rice and drizzle with pomegranate sauce.
Prep
- Marinate chicken in yogurt mixture for at least 4 hours.
- Soak saffron in warm water for 15 minutes.
