Bheja Fry

Bheja Fry is a spicy Indian dish made by frying goat brain with aromatic spices and herbs.

Cumin Seeds1Tsp
Salt (or to taste)1Tsp
Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)1Bunch
Oil (for frying)3Tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and green chilies, sauté for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil separates.
  5. Add the cleaned goat brain to the pan and mix well with the masala.
  6. Cover and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
