Cabbage Porial
Cabbage Porial is a South Indian stir-fry dish made with cabbage, spices, and coconut, cooked until tender.

| Salt (or to taste) | 1 | Tsp |
| Vegetable Oil (for cooking) | 2 | Tbsp |
| Asafoetida (a pinch) | 0.25 | Tsp |
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- Add urad dal and sauté until golden brown.
- Add curry leaves, green chili, and asafoetida. Sauté for a few seconds.
- Add the shredded cabbage and turmeric powder. Mix well.
- Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add salt and grated coconut. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and serve hot.
