Mutton Fry

Mutton fry is a spicy dish prepared by marinating mutton with spices, then frying with onions, tomatoes, and curry leaves.

Instructions

  1. Marinate the mutton with ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Set aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions and fry until golden brown.
  3. Add the marinated mutton to the pan and fry for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and slit green chilies to the pan. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  5. Pour in water, cover the pan, and simmer on low heat for 45 minutes or until the mutton is tender.
  6. Add curry leaves and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  7. Serve hot with rice or bread.
