Thai Basil Stir-Fry with Tofu

Thai Basil Stir-Fry with Tofu is a quick and flavorful dish using tofu, fresh basil, and a savory sauce, stir-fried to perfection.

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar until the sugar dissolves. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the cubed tofu and fry until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sliced red chili. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  5. Return the tofu to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
  6. Add the Thai basil leaves and stir-fry for another minute until the basil is wilted.
  7. Serve the stir-fry hot over cooked jasmine rice with lime wedges on the side.
